So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

What To Expect When You Visit Us For A Sunday Worship Service

Our English Morning Service as well as our Mandarin Morning Service starts at 9.30 am. There is also an English Evening Service at 5 pm.

Most people arrive about 10-15 minutes before the Service to take their seats and settle down. Most of our congregation attend the Service wearing either smart casual clothes or formal attire.

While parents can worship with their infants or toddlers in the Main Sanctuary, there are two “Cry” Rooms (located at the rear of the Sanctuary) which are available for use if needed. The Cry Rooms are equipped for feeding, napping and formula preparation, with adequate space for the little ones to crawl and play while parents participate in the Service.

Our Morning Services are held in a reverent manner and runs for about one and a half hours. The Services follow an Order of Worship which provides a guide as to how we publicly give God the glory that is due to His Name. The Order of Worship includes singing 3 to 4 hymns, corporate prayer, doxology (an expression of praise to God), and reading excerpts from our Church Confession (which are basically concise Bible-based statements of belief) and has – at its centre – the preaching of God’s Word.

After the Worship Service ends, most people will stay back to chat over simple refreshments. They then attend Bible Study classes which we refer to as Covenant Instruction (“CI”). Most CI classes (from Nursery to Adult level) start between 11.20 am and 11.30 am (depending on the age group) and lasts for about an hour. These classes are held in various rooms in the Church building. Occasionally, the Church organizes a fellowship over lunch after the CI classes end.

Our 5 pm Evening Service (which is interpreted simultaneously into Mandarin) lasts about an hour and closes our day in worship.
