Our Chinese Ministry originally started as an outreach ministry to the elderly relatives of church members who speak mainly Mandarin or one of the Chinese dialects. The Ministry has since expanded into a vibrant ministry for all Chinese-speaking Singaporeans and foreigners here, with its own Mandarin Services, Covenant Instruction, and Gospel Meetings.
We organise classes and events to allow our Chinese community to learn more of the Gospel (John 3:16), ultimately bringing our members to grow in Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Family Worship is very important to any Christian Family. This class aims to equip members with the knowledge on Family Worship, and to encourage its’ practice, all for the Glory of God!
Why do you need to learn the fundamentals of the Christian Faith? So that you can be assured and grow in your faith in Christ.
By having a discussion of the Sermon that was just preached, we can learn even more from the Word of God, as well as being reminded of the things we might have missed out.
After service, we usually learn songs together with their lyrics to reflect our inner desire to seek God. Through this, we are reminded of God’s Love towards us, as well as His Grace which is clearly shown to us through His Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In the class, we have Bible lessons and topical subjects for us to learn how to live for Christ, not just on Sundays, but on other days of the week as well.
Another opportunity to bond with each other, sharing how God has provided us throughout the week, as well as to encourage each other in the Lord.
As a Ministry, we have our own Chinese Bible Study Groups, enabling us to study the Word of God together.
We organise meetings and activities to build up our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to enhance our spiritual bonds with one another. Hence, we have monthly Chinese Fellowship Brunch (a light meal prior to lunch) after the service, and have visitations to fellow members. Prayer Meeting is held bi-monthly, for us to cast our burden upon the Lord, as taught in the Bible (Psalm 55:22).
