Sermon Synopsis

Here, we can see the powerful shepherd confronting his accusers and those who are spiritually hardened will remain indifferent. The unbelieving Jews and the Pharisees were not spared because rejecting Jesus is equivalent to rejecting the Father for they are one. Those found outside the sheepfold will eventually perish.

In Christ, we can see God’s eternal goodness and love in bodily form and Christ’s visible love points us to God’s invisible love. The Chief Shepherd is still gathering his sheep today and he assured that no one can pluck them out of his hands. Should we be lacking in assurance, let us be quick to run to open our bibles and read the Gospels to know more about Him and His words.
