Sermon Synopsis

Christ, the Living Water, was rejected by those closest to the Him: His own people and disciples failed to grasp the radical simplicity of the Gospel of Salvation, missing the truth that He is the only source that can permanently quench our spiritual thirst through eternal forgiveness. Simultaneously, the entrenched religious leaders, who recognized the threat His divine origin posed to their human authority, actively rejected Christ because His very being challenged their established power. Are we also like them who reject Christ or do we desire to quench our thirst through Him?
