Sermon Synopsis

Right after the spiritual “high” of the transfiguration, the disciples are met by the father of a demon-possessed man who seeks their help. But they were unable to cast the demon out. Why? The Lord rebukes their faithlessness. Despite witnessing many miracles, confessing that Christ is Lord, they failed to pray, and trust in Christ. Are we like the disciples, having so much light and privilege, yet failing to depend on Almighty God and exercise faith in Him?
