Sermon Synopsis

Christ's first coming was marked by humiliation and His second coming will be marked by glory and exaltation. Similarly, we must be willing to bear a present cross joyfully, in expectation of a future crown. The cross will be heavy which is why prayers are needed and there is a need for us to continuously look to Christ. He has done it and rejoices for us to draw strength by looking unto Him, the perfector of our faith, as we journey through life. He is the Christ, and He alone completes our redemption.
