Sermon Synopsis

In Mark 7, Jesus confronts the religious leaders of His day, not for breaking a law, but for upholding human traditions over God's commands. Their hearts, like ours, had become so focused on outward appearances and rituals that they missed the true source of defilement: the human heart. This passage reveals that what truly corrupts us isn't what goes into our bodies, but what comes out of our hearts—our evil intentions, pride, and greed. Are we living by a set of external rules, or have we let the grace of Christ transform our hearts from the inside out?
