Sermon Synopsis

Luke 5 tells of a leper who was uncertain about Jesus’ willingness to save but nonetheless presented himself at Jesus’ feet saying, “if you will”. Not only is Jesus’ compassion able to reach the most desperate sinner, but He possesses love and power in abundance, and is willing to apply salvation. May our uncleanliness and guilt lead us to the Savior, reminding us that we cannot cleanse ourselves. Let us rejoice that we are made righteous in Christ!
