Sermon Synopsis

This gospel sermon explores how our sinful hearts - our thoughts, wills, affections, bring us into condemnation, and how we can be saved. The Scripture says, the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Corruption and sin flows from the heart and contaminates our whole being, much like a polluted water source dirties everything downstream. The penalty for our sinful heart is death and condemnation, but God removes this criminal heart, saves us, gives us a heart that is soft to His commandments, and puts us on that heavenly road to be with Him forever.
