Sermon Synopsis

“Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs in the kingdom of heaven”, said the Lord Jesus Christ, a message which would have been radical to the proud Pharisees and scribes of the time. Those who are poor in Spirit see their spiritual bankruptcy before God, mourn for their sin, and cry out to the Lord for salvation. Come and listen to the grace of God, and the promises of God – that He would comfort all who come to Him in sincerity with an eternal inheritance, and the forgiveness of sin.
